What sets GROW apart is our unique combination of a robust academic foundation and extensive real-world experience. Founded by an economist, GROW leverages cutting-edge research to deliver practical, actionable insights. Our founder’s extensive work with global organizations such as Adidas, Equinor, Freshfields, the United Nations (World Food Programme), and the Oxford Programme on Negotiation, ensures that our programmes are grounded in real-world relevance.

Our founder, Marta Coelho, an economist with a BSc and a MSc in Economics (specialised in Industrial Economics), and with a PhD in Behavioural Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), is a member of staff at the LSE, where she led a highly successful and impactful MSc course on Negotiation and Bargaining for about 10 years. Marta is also an Associate Fellow at Saïd Business School (SBS), University of Oxford, where she teaches and tutors executives Negotiation topics as well as Decision-making biases and Persuasion in the highly impactful Executive Education programmes at SBS. Marta also taught Negotiation to MBA and EMBA students at London Business School (LBS). Marta has over 25 years of teaching experience in World leading Universities.

With vast experience teaching university students and executives from leading global organizations, our founder brings a wealth of knowledge and practical insights to GROW.

Marta also taught programmes tailored to executives in the Cook Islands and Female executives, which she found highly rewarding. Additionally, Marta held Non-Executive Board Member roles, including Chairwoman of the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Committee of the largest cork company in the world, Corticeira Amorim, further reinforcing our commitment to ethical leadership and sustainable growth.

Her work on Negotiation and Decision Making has been widely acknowledged and are central to her teaching and consulting work as evidenced by the reference to her work by the Nobel Prize winner in Economics, Daniel Kahneman, in his book “Thinking Fast and Slow”.

GROW’s leadership is therefore backed by a robust academic foundation and extensive real world experience.
